She’s the smartest dumb blonde you’ll ever meet, and she knows it. Maria Bruggere is an LA-based stand-up comedian, writer, podcast host, and overall control-freak. Originally from Portland, OR, Maria moved to LA for the traffic and overpriced cocktails - you just can’t beat LA culture. Her goal is to become a successful comedian before gas is $25 a gallon, so not a lot of time left.
Maria’s stand-up style can be best described as a “take no prisoners approach”. Maria’s comedy will hit you from every angle - self deprecating, crowd work, observational, personal anecdotes, and the occasional political jab.
In 2021, she went viral on TikTok for putting a tape measure between her legs. Known to some as #tapemeasuregirl, Maria has amassed over 37 million views and has nearly 30k followers across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and growing.
She’s also the host of Room For Rent Podcast, where she interviews friends, family, celebrities, and beyond about their crazy roommate experiences. It’s definitely worth checking out - people seem to like to live with murderers.
